Same bug in GK2 The Beast Within.
I tried this two games in Dosbox and I can hear audio effect.

I'm using the last git version of Scummvm and GTK1 from GOG.
I'm using the default ScummVM parameters.

You have to mount the CD-ROM iso file in order for ScummVM to find the audio files. This file is named GK1.GOG in the GOG/Steam version, and may have to be renamed to GK1.ISO in order to mount it.

I mounted the iso file and launch GK1 with ScummMV: still no audio, only midi music.

I forgot this: You have to add the game to ScummVM again and this time point it to the files inside the ISO, or copy all files from the ISO to a new folder and point ScummVM there. At least this worked for me. It might be less confusing if you remove the game from ScummVM first before adding it again.

Ok I didn't know I have to extract files from ISO named GTK1.GOG.
Audio files are located in the AUD folder, I did put them in the aim ScummVM GTK1 folder and now I can hear audio. Perhaps I will need other folder or files from this iso.
You can close the ticket.
Thanks you.

Which version of ScummVM are you using? I'm also a bit puzzled by the game id
gk1-cd-fr
. Is this a French version?
