Bug details:
Static sound plays instead of Sound effects (including over studio logos) and speech. MIDI Music still plays as expected.
PC version functions normally using the files on the same SD card.

It’s probably worth noting that the engine does actually add the drivers directory as a subdirectory to search when looking for files, so if moving the files out of the drivers directory ‘fixes’ the problem, then there’s probably something broken with the Wii port’s filesystem management.

Thanks for your report! This sounds like the same issue mentioned in this forum thread. Did you copy the data out of the drivers directory as indicated?
