Description (last modified by )
The MIDI volume does not decrease as it should when any speech is playing. The volume remains constant and is difficult to hear whomever is talking. I'm using Windows' built-in Microsoft GS Wavetable.

I think this was recently fixed, could you please test with the "latest development build" at https://buildbot.scummvm.org/builds.html and let us know?
The volume slider on the control panel also wouldn't immediately change the volume, and I know that's been fixed since the last release.

Thanks for verifying that, I think this is one of ZvikaZ's audio fixes. This will be in the 2.2.0 release which should be in the next month or so. If you haven't used a development build build before, please feel free to, the "bleeding edge" disclaimer applies but they're stable and all I use. There have also been several KQ6-specific fixes since the last release.
What ScummVM version do you use?
On what OS?
