SCUMM: LOOM (PC-Engine): Scrolling scenes show at a larger width than on DOS

Reported by: einstein95 Owned by:
Priority: normal Component: Engine: SCUMM
Version: Keywords: PC-Engine
Cc: Game: Loom

Description

In the PC Engine of Loom, scrolling scenes are shown at pixel width of 338px (the cursor is still limited to 320px from the right) compared to the DOS width of 320px (the current resolution in ScummVM). Static scenes are always 320px. The attached screenshot compares the same view shown in ScummVM (top) vs Mednafen (bottom).

As can be seen near the end of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-tUJVGprr0 this actually causes some glitches at the end, when the swans are carrying away their half of the pattern: The animation gets cut off when it nears the left edge of the screen.
