Description
I had Monkey Island 3 working on my Acer iconia one tablet with scumm version 2.0.0 last played 2018. I send the files over to my phone scummvm Version 2.8.0 but i always Shows the message ScummVm could not find any game in the specified directory! Did you add this directory to the SAF? Press the help Button ? on the top for detailed instructions. I don't now what SAF means and can't find the explanation in the help.
I can't add the folder.

Can you clarify what is the Android OS version on the device you're trying to play the game on?
The newer versions of Android (since 10 iirc) require to grant permission for an app to use a folder (and its subfolders) on external storage (which is basically anything outside the apps own folders). This permission is granted via Android's Storage Access Framework system (aka SAF).
The instructions should be shown on a popup when starting the app, and also available on a tab on the new Help system. But they can also be found online here:
