SCUMM: Skipped dialogue in Full Throttle with the DS port

Description
When running Full Throttle on the DS, it tends to skip large amounts of dialogue during cutscenes. The DS uses a 32 KB buffer to compensate for the lack of threads and past issues with running the mixer during interrupts which may be what’s causing it, but I’m not sure.

This might be a general mixer issue rather than with the SCUMM engine specifically - I’m noticing a similar issue with Space Quest 4 as well.

I have the same issue on PC. This first happened in the bar at the begining when Malcolm Corley speak with the barman, we cannot hear him.
Then later when Ben speak to Maureen for the first time, there is no dialog sound. I haven't played further.
X86-64 version 2.8.1, aug 1 build.

Hi, does that happen on the daily build? Which version of the game are you playing?
Just to be sure, have you tried low latency mode? You can find this setting in the game setting tab.
