Hi,
A small update: I'm still investigating if this release comes from an original version or it was somehow modified (and therefore, it cannot be supported as it is "pirated").

Would be good to resolve this for the 2.9.0 release.

Fixed in https://github.com/scummvm/scummvm/commit/2a91b255f1df865d36b9395eb8c2b2cfc4d4c051. However, keep in mind that Total Eclipse 2 is still very unstable. There is some code that is assumed to be the same as Total Eclipse, but in fact it is different and can crash the game very quickly. An other issue will be open to track down such issues.

The new issue is here, in case you want to follow the progress: https://bugs.scummvm.org/ticket/15465 If you want to test the game, please comment on that one.
Hi,
Thanks for creating this report. It seems we can add these since it most likely will work correctly, but I'm wondering where you got this unknown version?
Regards,
Gustavo.
