#1930 closed defect (fixed)

COMI SDL segmentation fault

Reported by: SF/gourry Owned by: sev-
Priority: normal Component: Engine: SCUMM
Version: Keywords:
Cc: Game: Monkey Island 3

Description

There is a regression bug with current CVS snapshot of scummvm (for Win32): ScummVM 0.8.0CVS (Feb 19 2005 10:07:58) Features compiled in: Vorbis FLAC MP3 zLib MPEG2

I'm unable to launch COMI at all (I've tried both Italian and English versions). As I select the game I get this error message:

Trying to start game 'The Curse of Monkey Island' WARNING: SO_VERB_LINE_SPACING 24: not yet implemented! Fatal signal: Segmentation Fault (SDL Parachute Deployed)

The same problem was present, also, on yesterday's version. Before I used a version of roughly two weeks ago and this bug was not present.

My mathine is an Athlon64 3200+, Geforce 6800GT, 1024Mb RAM and running Windows XP 32bit Service Pack 2

This is a recent regression, and the fix was added after last Windows snapshot. Use the current Windows snapshot, which was just updated.
