Description
I'm having a very, very strange problem with the talkie version of Sam'n'Max. On my desktop, a Win98SE box, running the most recent nightly build (as I don't have VC++ or Cygwin on it), I can only get the sound effects (speech, SFX, etc.) in the game, but not the music. On another computer running WinXP, both are played.
Sound worked fine for DotT on both computers, so I can only assume that it's something with the Sam'n'Max engine. I'm getting some
IMuseInternal::findTag failed finding sound ##
(32, 2, etc.) on my Win98 computer, but I haven't checked yet to see if that happens on the XP computer. I'll check next time I use it.

Bah! Never mind. It turns out that somebody muted the MIDI in the sound control panel and then hid the MIDI control . . .
/me is going to go crawl under a rock now . . .
