There is a scene in where one can make Tony walk in place (walking animation is played, but ego is not moving). It's always reproducable.
Load in the save game. You should be in front of the castle/scene where ego can look up to see the clock and where Grendel will be sitting later in the game.
You can point the cursor left or right of ego on the path and ego will walk there. BUT, if you point the cursor left or right of ego on the WALL, ego will just stay there.
Now, if you make ego walk with clicking on the path and THEN click on the WALL ego will stop, with a still playing walking animation.
